The penultimate event in the Race to Dubai takes place at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal in Turkey this week. This is the first staging of this tournament. The course is a relatively short par 72 which overlooks the Mediterranean. The large greens and and a relatively short yardage, the course should present few real problems to Europe’s finest.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Jamie Donaldson | 2pt each way 40-1 | Bet365 |
Returned 22pts for 2 place finish!
Back Jamie Donaldson Again |
Jamie looks to be building up to another win. After a quiet few months he’s hitting form again. T6 and T8 in his last three starts is good playing. The course sets up well this week and Donaldson looks to us like a form player who knows how to win. He’s well worth a punt. | |||
Peter Uihlein | 2pt each way 45-1 | BetVictor |
Finishing position: T57 Back Peter Uihlein Again |
We’re going with Uihlein for the third straight week and make no apology for that. He’s in tip-top form at the moment. He’s going to have a comparative advantage as nobody will have played the course before and with room off the tee we can see him getting a number of birdie chances. If he takes enough of them he’ll be right in the mix. | |||
Pablo Larrazabal | 2pt each way 50-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: 53 Back Pablo Larrazabal Again |
Pablo’s been quietly playing solid golf for a while now. T9-T17-T8-T5 is very good indeed from his last four starts. He’s been making some positive noises on Twitter and seems ready to add another Tour win. Like Donaldson and Uihlein, he won’t be afraid to grasp the chance if it comes his way on Sunday. |
