FAQs

Q. What is the aim of this website?

A. To provide hints, tips and bookmakers offers to help you maximise profits (or minimise losses) on golf betting.

Q. Do you have a misson statement?

A. Not really. The important point is that golf betting should be fun. By keeping stakes low and doing proper research we hope that our website will help you get the most out of watching and betting on golf. We in no way advocate large stakes on these or any other tips you might find.

We also feel that charging a fee for information is detrimental to the ultimate goal of profitable golf betting.

Q. Are your tips guaranteed to make a profit?

A. Absolutely not. It is impossible to guarantee a profit on any betting tip at any time. Our advice and hints are there to help you make informed choices and are based on knowledge gained over 15+ years of golf betting.

Our past performance is no guarantee of future performance.

Q. Why should I use your tips?

A. No reason other than if you think they might win. We feel there is just as much value (if not more) in the hints section which, added to your own research, should be very useful. This hopefully will help you pick profitable tips of your own.

Q. Can we discuss tips with you?

A. We are happy to chat about tips (ours or others) on our Facebook and Twitter pages and bounce ideas around.

Q. How much should I stake on your tips?

A. Our idea is to try to pick longer-priced players where there is the chance of a larger payout for a smaller stake. We suggest a small bet would be the best option. With our points system you will be able to see our confidence in any given tip and stake accordingly.

Q. How many picks do you choose per tournament?

A. Generally two players per tournament will be chosen. They will normally be higher priced players (usually 33-1+) as an each way bet.

Q. Which tournaments do you provide tips for?

The majority of European Tour and PGA Tour events, together with the WGC Championships. Occasionally if we consider there to be no viable tip for an event we will not publish one. This is rare, however.

Q. How often will your tips win?

A. Impossible to say but generally we aim for some form of payout every month on average. Sometimes there will be more frequent wins. Obviously, at times there will be longer losing periods.

Q. Can we contact you about this website or your service?

A. Contact email addresses are in the ‘Contact Us’ section of the website. We are always happy to receive feedback (hopefully positive!) via this method, Facebook or Twitter. We are always interested in your experiences betting on golf.

Q. Is your service free?

A. Yes. A lot of time and effort goes into maintaining and updating this website. There is also a large amount of research for the hints and tips. To maintain a free service we would ask you to support our Bookmaker partners and their offers.

Q. What happens if I subscribe to your email alert?

A. You will receive one email a week (usually on Tuesday) reminding you that this week’s tips have been published. You will have no other contact from ourselves and we do not pass on any information to any third parties. Unsubscribe information is at the bottom of each week’s email.

Q. Can I trust your tips?

A. All tips where we rely on the result for marketing purposes are proofed to an independent professional body in writing prior to the relevant event taking place. This is in accordance with the CAP and ASA code of practice.
