The Avantha Masters has a new venue this year. The Jaypee Greens Golf Club is a 7347 yard par 72. The course has 88 bunkers and water comes into play on many holes. It’s a pretty weak field as you would expect (Jaidee early favourite). It’s the usual mish-mash of lower ranked tour players, Middle East ‘experts’ and home grown pros. Alvaro Quiros makes his season debut here but there will be too much rust for him to be seriously considered. Jbe Kruger defends and he’s an eye catching early 50-1 with Bet365! Quite a price in this field!
