The European Tour returns Scotland for the annual Pro-Am Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. As usual, it is played over Kingsbarns, Carnoustie and two rounds at St. Andrews. Carnoustie is by far the hardest course with the other two offering up birdies aplenty. Tyrell Hatton defends this week .
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Thorbjorn Olesen | 2pt each way 45-1 | Stan James TOP SIX |
Finishing position: T74 Back Thorbjorn Olesen Again |
Thorbjorn has a good record at links venues, probably because his sometimes wayward driving isn’t too heavily punished. He’s had another good season and is playing some decent stuff. He notched a 2nd place here in 2012 and won in 2015. Must be in with a chance. | |||
Richie Ramsay | 2pt each way 50-1 | Ladbrokes |
Finishing position: MC Back Richie Ramsay Again |
Richie has had a super season and was in contention last week at Close House. He gets on well with the Pro-Am setup and he’s well worthy of each way support this week, especially after his T4 in 2009 and T2 three years ago. | |||
Graeme Storm | 2pt each way 66-1 | Stan James TOP SIX |
Finishing position: T36 Back Graeme Storm Again |
Graeme has had a great year, edging McIlroy out in a play off early on and hasn’t looked back. He’s posted a series of high finishes and had a top 10 last week at the British Masters. He’s got a solid long term record at the Dunhill Links having notched for top 25s here. Worth a small nibble this week. |
