The Portugal Masters returns to The Dom Pedro Victoria Course for the eleventh consecutive year. It’s a 7150 yard par 71 Arnold Palmer design. It’s fairly flat and exposed and tends to favour the longer hitters. Padraig Harrington won last year’s event.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Kiradech Aphibarnrat | 2pt each way 28-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: MC Back Kiradech Aphibarnrat Again |
We’re going with Aphibarnrat again after last week’s blow up. Fact is, he’s a proven winner and he’s in good form. It’s his first go at the Portugal masters but we’re happy to have an each way punt. | |||
David Lingmerth | 2pt each way 66-1 | PaddyPower TOP SEVEN |
Finishing position: T20 Back David Lingmerth Again |
David’s a proven winner and a solid wind player. He’s obviously in Portugal for a reason and he won’t be scared of the depth of the field lining up this week. No doubt he’s a class above most and is a solid each way prospect. | |||
Alexander Levy | 2pt each way 28-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: WD Back Alexander Levy Again |
Levy is a good player and has won this event in the past. He’s been playing well of late and should be up there again this week. Not a bad early price from the bookies and well worth backing each way. |
