This week we’re high up in the Alps for the Omega European Masters from Crans-Sur-Sierre. It’s a particularly scenic venue which doubles as a ski resort in the winter months. It’s another relatively weak filed with the big names still on Fedex Cup duty. The course is a short 7000 yard par 71 which plays shorter still at this altitude. It’s a tight, tree lined affair with very small upturned greens which are quite tricky to hit in regulation. GIR is definitely important here as length off the tee is of no advantage. Another former winner in 2014 champ David Lipsky. The talented American has had a super year ind is high up in the Race To Dubai. He’s obviously got an affinity with this place and looks a good each way bet at this price.

Jamie’s had a rough time of it since hitting the winning shot at the 2014 Ryder Cup. He’s coming back into form and lines up this week with a chance. He’s got a good record at Crans with three top 10s in his last five starts. Worth an each way punt.
