This event is played over two courses at Torrey Pines GC in California. One round is played over the shorter North Course and three over the more challenging South Course. The cream often rises to the top here – Tiger Woods is the main course specialist. A good score on the North Course is an important factor for a good week. Brandt Snedeker defends and he will probably go well this week. Torrey Pines is the scene of Kyle Stanley’s famous 72nd hole blow-up. Will he go one better this week? Charles Howell III is the current form horse and has solid course form but a play-off defeat at Humana might hit hard.

Bill Haas | 2pt each way 45-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: T9 Back Bill Haas Again |
Bill is a class player with four career wins. He’s won early in the season two of the last three years. Admittedly he’s had a quiet start this time but we see a big finish this week on a course he knows and likes. 6 straight cuts made with an eye-catching T4 in 2012 point to a proven winner who’s ready to do it again. | |||
John Rollins | 1pt each way 66-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: T44 Back John Rollins Again |
Yes, we’re having another punt at Mr. Rollins. He’s made a solid start to the season with 6 of his 8 rounds thus far in the 60s and a total of -31 in his two tournaments. With Farmers form of 2-20-MC-3 he’s obviously pretty comfortable on the course and we feel he’s building up to a big finish soon. Everything points to this week. |
