This week is one of the highlights of the European Calendar and as ever a strong field lines up at Wentworth. The course is a classic parkland track and is a 7300 yard par 72. A number of changes have been made in recent years, especially Ernie Els’ controversial butchering of the 18th. The course certainly favours the longer hitters and the four par 5s are there for the taking. An Bayeong-Hun is the defending champ.

There aren’t many know their way round Wentworth like Lee Westwood. He’s still a quality performer and we feel he’s got at least one last big win in him. He’s got a really solid record in this part of Wentworth and we’re happy to have an each way punt.

We fancy Alvaro at a fast and firm Wentworth this week. A long overdue 7th win occurred in Sicily last week and that will be a big confidence boost. He’ll gobble up the par 5s and the wide fairways play into the long hitting Spaniard’s hands. His T10 in similar conditions in 2012 is a good pointer.

Alex is a top player and back to full fitness. He’s posted three wins in 2016 and looks primed for further success. He’ll be looking to build on 2015’s T8 and we think he could figure this week.
