It’s back to the European Tour this week and our annual stop in Morocco. The Royal Golf Dar El Salam is the venue again this year. Note, in 2011-2015 a different venue was used. It’s a 7500 yard tree lined par 72 with a number of dogleg holes.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
David Horsey | 2pt each way 50-1 | SkyBet |
Finishing position: MC Back David Horsey Again |
David is a Morocco specialist with a string of high finishes on his trips to North Africa. It is exactly this type of weakly contested event that he specialises in – and can win. We don’t think he’ll be on offer at this price for much longer. | |||
Gregory Bourdy | 2pt each way 90-1 | Sportingbet |
Finishing position: T34 Back Gregory Bourdy Again |
The talented Frenchman Bourdy rewarded us with a 50-1 place win last season and is a steady performer who can win at this level. The tree lined nature of this venue plays into the hands of his accurate tee to green game. Well worth an each way punt at these odds against a weak field. | |||
Chris Hanson | 2pt each way 66-1 | SkyBet |
Finishing position: T6 Back Chris Hanson Again |
Chris is an up and coming player having established himself well on tour in his rookie year last season. He’s had some good results and had an eye catching T5 here last year. He’s a more experienced, rounded player now and is well worth an each way punt. |
