The European Tour lines up in Dubai at the Emirates GC this week. Rory McIlroy is the star attraction and predictably heads the bookies lists. The course is a 7300 par 72 and the wind can be a factor. A solid tee-to-green game is required here with a number of dog-leg, tree lined holes. The large Bermuda greens are relatively flat. Out of form Danny Willett is the defending champion.

We’ve had some success over the years with the talented Dane Olesen. He’s a bit of a Desert Swing specialist and has quietly amassed four tour wins. He’s been playing some decent golf over the last few months and three top 10s in his last four starts at The Emirates speaks for itself.

Chris is a really solid all round player who revels in the desert conditions. He’s also a proven winner and has a good record at The Emirates. He’s notched four top 25s in his last five starts including T8 last year. We’re backing him to go better this time around.

The talented Thai Aphibarnrat gave us a good run last week at Qatar but just came up a little short. He’s in good form at the moment and, like Olesen, is a proven winner at this level. We’re happy to put him forward again this week.
