The PGA Tour moves to Maryland this week for the newly renamed Quicken Loans National. The event is held at Congressional Country Club and is a very long and tough par 71 of almost 7600. The course was been toughened up for the 2011 US Open. It is important to note that the 2010 and 2011 editions were held at a different course (Aronimink) and, due to course changes, form prior to this is of lesser value than normal. Also, last year’s event was held elsewhere so the last Congressional winner was Justin Rose in 2014. Billy Hurley was last year’s winner.

Early summer is certainly Danny’s time of year. He posted a win last year at the Greenbrier and notch T4 at Congressional in 2016 too. He’s also had a good result at River Highlands at the weekend and looks primed for another good tournament this week.

Charles really is Mr. Consistency on the PGA Tour and can pop up in the paying places almost anywhere. He’s got a decent Record at Congressional and his accurate hitting looks a good fit. He’s playing some really solid golf this season, as usual, and looks well capable of posting a top five here.

We think Bill represents good value against a weak field this week. He’s a class above most here and has notched some good Congressional results including a win in 2013. We think he’s well worth a nibble at this price.
