The PGA Tour makes its regular stop in Tennessee this week at the Fedex St. Jude Classic in Memphis. This event is always played at the 7200 yard par 70 TPC at Southwind. As last year this is the final event before the US Open. The course certainly sets up for the more accurate hitters and water is a regular feature on many holes. The par 4 18th is a particularly tough finish. -12 is probably going to be around the winning figure. Daniel Berger is the defending champ.

Russell has been a little quiet of late but there is no doubt he’s a quality player. Two wins last season is testament to that. His game is a good fit for Southwind and he notched T8 on his last visit to Memphis.

Ryan is a really solid player who should probably have won more than his three titles. He’s got a good tee to green game that fits well with Southwind. He’s notched a couple of punter friendly finishes here in the last five years and could go well again this week.
