The Tour moves to Texas this week and to Fort Worth’s Colonial CC. This is one of the oldest established and traditional tournaments of the year. The course itself is a 7200 yard par 70 and certainly favours the straight hitters. The fairways are relatively narrow and tree lined, and the rough is more punishing than previous years. As ever in Texas, the wind can be a significant factor. Jordan Spieth was last year’s winner.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Matt Kuchar | 2pt each way 28-1 | BetFred |
Finishing position: T12 Back Matt Kuchar Again |
Matt is running into some good form and he’ll be looking forward to this week. His solid tee-to-green game is made for Colonial and he’s got a great record here. Two top 10s in his last three starts in Fort Worth and we’re happy to get on board this week. | |||
Jason Dufner | 2pt each way 25-1 | BetFred |
Finishing position: MC Back Jason Dufner Again |
We were on Jason last week and he narrowly missed the paying places. He’s fulminating nicely and we can see a win in him soon. Add in a solid Colonial record (three top 6s in the last five years) and he’s a must back for us this week. | |||
Adam Hadwin | 2pt each way 40-1 | SkyBet |
Finishing position: T53 Back Adam Hadwin Again |
Adam has gone from strength to strength after his maiden win earlier in the year. He certainly looks like a player who can win again and we like the look of his Colonial record. He’s posted T5 and T22 in his two visits to Fort Worth and he’s brimming with confidence now. |
