The European Tour moves to Milan this week for the Italian Open. Golf Club Milano is the venue for the second year running. It’s a 7156 yard par 71 and definitely favours the accurate players with a number of dog-legs and tight, tree lined fairways. Last year’s winner was Rikard Karlberg.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
David Lipsky | 2pt each way 80-1 | Stan James TOP SIX |
Finishing position: T16 Back David Lipsky Again |
David’s having a good run at the moment and we were on board when he was T3 a couple of weeks ago in Denmark. He’s well capable of winning again at this level and his T3 at Golf Club Milano only strengthens the case. | |||
Romain Wattel | 1pt each way 90-1 | BetFred TOP SIX |
Finishing position: T38 Back Romain Wattel Again |
We have had success with the talented Frenchman Wattel in the past and we’re confident he’ll post his forst win in the near future. He’s had a solid season and sits 42nd in the Race to Dubai. He’s also got a really solid Italian Open record including T10 here last year. Well worth a punt. | |||
Scott Hend | 1pt each way 40-1 | Stan James TOP SIX |
Finishing position: MC Back Scott Hend Again |
Scott has done well for us of late and we were happy to collect a place win at the weekend. A win doesn’t loom far away and he’s in tip-top form at the minute. No doubt he can handle the tighter tests (win at Fanling GC testifies) and we think he can wring another good week out here. |
