It’s the second staging of the True Thailand Classic this week. The venue is Black Mountain GC which is a 7346 yard par 72 and is very much a resort style set-up with wide fairways and a number of water hazards. Andrew Dodt was last year’s shock winner at -16.

We think Wattel can win this season and there are signs that he’s beginning to fire after the winter break. T15 and T6 in his last two starts in good, progressive form and he should be a class above most who are here this week. He was a steady T31 last year but we’re tipping him to go a lot better this time around.
Gregory Bourdy	2pt each way 35-1	Bet365	Finishing position: MC Back Gregory Bourdy Again
Gregory rewarded us with a nice 50-1 place win a fortnight ago, thus showing his all round game is in good shape. It’s a really thin field this week and a fully firing Bourdy should be too good for most who tee it up on Thursday. Decent value at this early price.

Scott is a somewhat erratic, big hitting Australian who is well capable of contending this week. No doubt the wide fairways play into his hands and he should eat up the par 5s. T7 and T2 is good playing in the two editions of this event and he could go well again against a pretty thin field.
