The European Tour moves to Malaysia this week for a brand new event. Royal Selangor GC is the venue and it’s a 7079 yard par 71. It’s a tight set-up and a solid tee to green game is going to help. Louis Oostuizen and Martin Kaymer are the most famous names in the field this week. Danny Willett heads the bookies’ lists.

Aphibarnrat had a stellar 2015 and looks set to continue that. It’s a blank canvas this week but he’ll have a better idea about this place than most and there’s no doubt Kiradech will be gunning for this one. A former Malaysian Open champion, he’ll fancy his chances this week.

Thongchai is here for a reason this week. He’ll fancy his chances against a relatively light field. He’s normally at his best in hot, humid conditions and the short nature of Royal Selangor will play into the wily Jaidee’s hands.
David Horsey	2pt each way 100-1	Coral	Finishing position: WD Back David Horsey Again
David’s a specialist in minor events away from the Tour’s main heartland and we like the look of him this week. We tipped him up last week for pretty much the same reasons and he was a promising T14. We think he’s worth another punt this week at a generous price.
