The second leg of the Race to Dubai kicks off at Lake Malaren GC just outside Shanghai. It’s a flat, fairly open 7600 yard par 72 which tends to favour longer hitters. A high class field is present with Justin Rose the early favourite. Marcel Siem is the defending champion.

Soren has had a stellar 2015 with a tasty win at the Irish Open and three runner up finishes. He’s playing the best golf of his career right now and his BMW form of 20-17 is progressive. He’s playing way better than twelve months ago so we can see a top five this week.

We’ve had some success this season with the burly Thai and he’s at the top of his game right now. Two wins this season could have been more and the wide open layout this week suits Aphibarnrat to a tee. It’s his first look at Lake Malaren and we can see another contending performance this week at a good price.
