With the 2014-15 PGA Tour season at an end there’s only one tournament to study this week. The British Masters returns after a seven year absence. It’s being played at the Marquess Course at Woburn GC. It’s a 7200 yard par 72. The tree lined fairways require a modicum of accuracy but with the soft conditions scoring should be low.

We’re happy to consider Rickard this week as one of the form horses in the field. He notched his first victory in Italy last month on the back of a string of very good performances. We’re happy to ignore his MC at St. Andrews last week and focus on his T5 at the European Open a fortnight ago. Another top six is not out of the question by any means.

David is a good solid pro who’s amassed four tour wins, the latest being in August at the Made in Denmark. Since then he’s notched a T3 and T9 so will be coming into this week with some momentum. It’s a new venue for most people so we can see a contending performance this week.

Matthew has really found his feet this season and had posted a number of high finishes. He looks ready to win and the Marquess course should play to his ball striking strengths. He’s certainly got the game to contend and he’s posted two 3rd place finishes in his last four starts. Well worth a punt this week.
