The PGA Tour moves to North Carolina this week for a stop at Quail Hollow GC. This is one of the most highly rated courses of the year and there is a predictably strong field for the event. At 7442 yards with light rough, the course certainly favours the longer hitters. Finding plenty of greens in regulation is a pre-requisite for a good week and Quail Hallow certainly has a reputation as a ball striker’s course. Quail Hollow specialist Rory McIlroy defends this week.

Ryan is a solid pro and proven winner. He’s had a really consistent couple of years and looks like he could add to his victory tally soon. He’s got a really solid long term record at Quail Hollow and has had a couple of top fives of late. Well worth an each way punt.

Patrick is a quality player who has made a really promising start to his pro career. He looks like a guy who could win in 2016. He’s got the all round game to tame Quail Hollow, as proved by last year’s T2. He’s been steady of late but could easily pop up in the top five again this week.

We can’t resist this early price on the fast improving Daniel Berger. He’s posted four top 20s in his last five starts including a T5 in Houston. He also made a promising T28 last year on his first look at Quail Hollow. We’re backing him to go better this time around.
