The Arnold Palmer Initiation is this week’s PGA Tour stop and takes place at the regular venue of Bay Hill. This is one of the more prestigious events of the year and always has a strong field. The course is a 7400 yard par 72 which is traditionally one of the harder courses of the year. The Bermuda greens are relatively slick and the rough is going to punish errant tee shots. The long par 4 18th is a fearsome test. Matt Every was the surprise winner in 2014 and successfully defended his title last year.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Ryan Moore | 2pt each way 33-1 | PaddyPower TOP SEVEN |
Finishing position: T74 Back Ryan Moore Again |
Ryan is really starting to play some good stuff and could easily win again this season. He’s had a T11, T10 and last week’s T3 in his last four starts. His Bay Hill form looks unexceptional but dig deeper and he posted T12 in 2011 and a handy T4 in 2012. He’s coming into this one with some momentum and we wouldn’t bet against his good play continuing. | |||
Kevin Na | 2pt each way 40-1 | BetFred |
Finishing position: WD Back Kevin Na Again |
Kevin has clearly bounced back from an injury hit 2013 and looks ready to claim his second PGA Tour title soon. Over the last twelve months he’s had his usual string of high finishes and sits in a lofty position in the Fedex Cup rankings. We’re backing his good play to continue, especially as he’s posted T11-T2-T30-T4-T14-T6 in his last six visits to Bay Hill. We feel he’s a must beat each way this week. | |||
Jason Kokrak | 2pt each way 60-1 | PaddyPower TOP SEVEN |
Finishing position: T20 Back Jason Kokrak Again |
Jason is in the winner about to happen category and it nearly did happen a few weeks ago at Riviera. He had a really solid final round and almost forced a play off. He’ll have taken alot out of that and looks ready to go again this week. He’s T4-T6 in his two visits to Bay Hill and looks a solid each way prospect this week. |
