This event is played over two courses at Torrey Pines GC in California. One round is played over the shorter North Course and three over the more challenging South Course. The cream often rises to the top here. A good score on the North Course is an important factor for a good week. Jason Day is the defending champion.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Bill Haas | 2pt each way 30-1 | PaddyPower TOP SEVEN |
Finishing position: MC Back Bill Haas Again |
Bill Haas ticks most of the boxes this week. He’s a proven winner who’s playing some consistent golf this year. He was T18 at Kapalua before last week’s T9 at PGA West. Dial in Torrey Pines form of three top 10s in his last five starts then we think we have a potential winner in waiting. | |||
Charles Howell III | 2pt each way 50-1 | PaddyPower TOP SEVEN |
Finishing position: T16 Back Charles Howell III Again |
Charles has had his usual consistent start to the season and looks a good each way prospect this week. He had a good run at PGA West last time out and his Torrey Pines record is really consistent. He’s amassed six top 10s here in total and was T5 in 2015. With top seven on offer this week we’re happy to have a punt. | |||
Graham Delaet | 2pt each way 50-1 | PaddyPower TOP SEVEN |
Finishing position: T69 Back Graham Delaet Again |
Graham is widely regarded as one of the best players never to have won. He had a quiet 2015 but seems to be coming back to form with a T7 at the Sony. He’s played some good stuff at Torrey Pines with T9 and T2 in his last two visits. With seven places on offer we’re think he could be round the paying places again. |
