This week’s PGA Tour stop is TPC Summerlin, just outside Las Vegas. The course is a typical desert/resort layout with wide fairways and large, flat, receptive greens. Low scoring is the order of the day so good iron players and putters tend to gravitate to the top of the leaderboard. Normally at least -20 is needed to contend here on this 7243 yard par 71 course. Ben Martin is the defending champion.

Returned 15.33pts for T2 place finish!
Back Jason Bohn Again |
We’re snapping up the early price on Jason as he’s had a super year and rewarded us with a 40-1 place winner a couple of months ago. He’s continued his good form and has an excellent record at Summerlin. 8-2-18 in his last three starts here is enough for us to get onboard.
Charley Hoffman | 2pt each way 40-1 | SkyBet |
Finishing position: MC Back Charley Hoffman Again |
Charley has had a really solid 2014-15 season and will be looking to continue his good play. He’s got a really solid record at The Shriners with three top six finishes in the last nine events including a T4 in 2013. He’s a player who certainly has his favourite courses and a win this week is not out of the question.
Tony Finau | 2pt each way 30-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: T16 Back Tony Finau Again |
We’re expecting good things from big hitting Tony Finau this season. He had a super rookie season and will be looking to post his first win soon. He’s in good, consistent form at present and last year’s T7 at Summerlin shows the wide open resort-style set up plays into his hands. |
