The Frys.com Open starts the 2015-16 season and the venue this week is the Silverado Resort & Spa which was used for the first time in 2014. The event takes place over the 7200 yard par 72 North Course. Tree lined fairways await the competitors this week so accuracy off the tee will certainly help. There’s only one year’s course form to go on so current form should point to this week’s winner. Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy are in the field and Sang Moon Bae triumphed last year.

Kevin is a really good player and has added great consistency to his game over the last few years. He looks ready to add to his solitary Tour win soon. He had a string of solid results last season and made the Tour Championship. He’s had success on resort layouts in the past and T15-T3 in his last two Frys.com outings points to another contending performance.

We think Hunter’s worth a small punt this week. He’s obviously a quality player and proven winner. After a quiet 2015 he came to life in the Play-Offs and played some good golf. We’re seeing an upturn in his play and last year’s T3 adds fuel to the fire. A top 5 is well within reach.

Big Tony had a super rookie season and easily kept his card. A string of high finishes eaylt and late point to a fast developing player. He has had some really good results recently and the resort-style layout should suit the big hitting Finau down to the ground. We expect better than last year’s T12.
