The Tour moves to Italy this week at the Golf Club Milano. It’s a new venue and measures 7159 yards for a par of 72. It’s a tree lined affair and accuracy from both tee and fairway looks to be essential this week. Hennie Otto was last year’s winner in Turin.
The following Bookmakers are offering ¼ odds the tops six this week:
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Rafael Cabrera-Bello | 2pt each way 33-1 | BetVictor |
Finishing position: T74 Back Rafael Cabrera-Bello Again |
Rafa is up and running after a slow start to the season. He’s had a good series of top 10s and was T7 last week. We think his good play can continue and we’re happy to have an each way punt at this early price. | |||
Tommy Fleetwood | 2pt each way 50-1 | BetVictor |
Finishing position: T33 Back Tommy Fleetwood Again |
Tommy’s a quality player and we think he could go well on a level playing field this week. He’s not played a lot lately after the US PGA but posted a good 66 in the KLM last week. He’s had some good results this season and looks capable of adding to his solitary tour win in the near future. | |||
Gregory Bourdy | 2pt each way 35-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: MC Back Gregory Bourdy Again |
We think this course sets up nicely for the neat and tidy Frenchman. He tends to prosper on shorter layouts where there is a premium on accuracy. He’s had a few high finishes and sits 50th in the RTD. A couple of those have come of late with a T8 at the Czech Masters and four rounds in the 60s at the KLM. We think he’s worth a small each way punt. |
