The tour moves to Germany this week after a week off. Golf Club Munchen Eichenreid is the venue again after a year off last time out. Course form for 2014 is therefore less significant. The course is a 7200 yarder and usually -18 or so is needed to win. Fabrizio Zanotti was last year’s winner.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Ross Fisher | 2pt each way 50-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: T11 Back Ross Fisher Again |
Ross Fisher is a solid all round player and proven winner at this level. He’s in solid cut-making form at present but has a very good record in Germany. Munchen form of 2-9-8-18 in his last four visits here shows he must have a chance of popping up in the paying places this week. | |||
Thongchai Jaidee | 2pt each way 40-1 | BetVictor |
Finishing position: T11 Back Thongchai Jaidee Again |
Thongchai is having another great season and looks well capable of contending this week. He’s had a decent record round this course in the past with a couple of T21s and a T8 in his last four visits here. Dial in a T5 last year when he should have done better and we think he’ll be up there come Sunday. | |||
Matthew Fitzpatrick | 2pt each way 70-1 | Stan James |
Finishing position: MC Back Matthew Fitzpatrick Again |
The former US Amateur Champion is really starting to find his feet in the pro ranks and his form is on a steep upward curve. His T3 in his last start is his best finish to date and he’s also had a T8 and a string of top 25s in the recent past. We’re happy to have a punt on his good play continuing this week |
