Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Romain Wattel | 2pt each way 30-1 | BetFred |
Finishing position: T49 Back Romain Wattel Again |
Romain is one of our favourites and has delivered a couple of place wins over the last year. We think he can notch win No. 1 soon and this looks as good a place as any. He’s had T7, 2nd and T8 in his last five starts so has some momentum coming into this. Add in T5 on this course in 2009 and it’s enough for us to get onboard. | |||
Pablo Larrazabal | 2pt each way 30-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: T49 Back Pablo Larrazabal Again |
Pablo is always fired up in his home event and should be a real threat here. He’s been in decent form with four top 25s in his last five starts including T3 in Morocco. He clearly can contend here and his T3 on this course in 2009 just adds fuel to the fire. | |||
Rafael Cabrera-Bello | 2pt each way 50-1 | SkyBet |
Finishing position: MC Back Rafael Cabrera-Bello Again |
Rafa is a favourite of ours and looks to be slowly working his way back from a quiet start to the season. He’s a player who usually does well in his home country and he’s strung together four consecutive cuts. He’ll be keen to get his season going this week and his T11 at El Prat in 2009 shows he can handle the course. |
