After a week off it’s the start of the 2015 European Tour Season. The Nedbank Golf Challenge is restricted to a field of 30 competitors and takes place on the Gary Player Course at Sun City, South Africa. The venue is a long 7800 yard par 72 but the altitude means it plays about 10% shorter. The fairways are wide and the par 5s reachable for the longer hitters. Thomas Bjorn defends.

In an event where the odds are pretty skinny and value hard to find, we’re going again for Tommy this week. He’s had a great 2014 and win No. 2 isn’t far away. He’s got the kind of all round game that will prosper in Sun City and we can see a good place finish this week at least.

We’re going to have a punt on the consistent Jaidee this week. He’s had a very solid year and managed T9 in his only visit here last year. He’s had some steady results of late but we think he’s worth a small punt at a pretty generous price.

Marcel has had a fine end to the year with a win and a few other high finishes. He’ll be coming in to this one with a good degree of momentum and confidence. He’s got a good all round game and seems a reasonable value bet against a small field this week.
