The Frys.com Open moves to a new venue this week in the Silverado Resort & Spa. The event takes place over the 7200 yard par 72 North Course. Tree lined fairways await the competitors this week so accuracy off the tee will certainly help. There’s no course form to go on so current form should point to this week’s winner. Jimmy Walker triumphed last year at CordeVale.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Graham Delaet | 2pt each way 28-1 | Sportingbet |
Finishing position: T39 Back Graham Delaet Again |
Graham is probably the best player on tour without a win. The Frys.com Open is traditionally a first time winner’s event (Blixt/Walker) and DeLaet had the ammunition to get the job done soon. He had a good 11th at the BMW Championship and a T15 at the US PGA. So, his game is not far off and on a level playing field this week he could finally break the duck. | |||
Cameron Tringale | 2pt each way 50-1 | Ladbrokes |
Finishing position: T26 Back Cameron Tringale Again |
Cameron had a great end to last season and made the Tour Championship. He’s got the kind of neat and tidy game that could prosper round Silverado’s tree lined fairways. We’re hoping he’s going to make the step up after his late season heroics and he’ll certainly be coming into this event with more momentum than most. | |||
Jason Kokrak | 2pt each way 80-1 | Boylesports |
Finishing position: T46 Back Jason Kokrak Again |
Jason has had a solid season and seems to be maturing into a competent Tour player. He’s also got a good Fyr’s.com vibe with T3 and T12 in his last two attempts. He had a decent run at the Fedex Cup play offs and had a solid T16 a month ago at the Deutsche Bank Championship. We’re happy to have a small punt on big Jason’s good Frys run continuing. |
