TPC Louisiana is this week’s venue. The course is a Pete Dye design and was extended to 7400 yards a couple of years ago. The greens are tricky and undulating and wind can be a factor. Billy Horschel was last year’s winner but has been a little quiet of late. Solid course form seems to be an important factor here.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Kevin Stadler | 2pt each way 40-1 | PaddyPower TOP SIX |
Finishing position: MC Back Kevin Stadler Again |
Kevin had his breakthrough win in Phoenix, pipping our tip Bubba Watson at the 72nd hole. He’s played solid golf since, with a T8 at Augusta catching the eye. He admits that he’s hungry for success before the long putter is abolished in 2016 – in fact he may retire when that happens. Anyhow, he managed T8 last year and maybe his new found confidence will see him contend this week. | |||
Cameron Tringale | 2pt each way 50-1 | PaddyPower TOP SIX |
Finishing position: T17 Back Cameron Tringale Again |
Cameron is an improving young player who’ll be looking to notch his first win soon. He’s had a solid season so far and sits 46th in the Fedex Cup. He has an eye-catching record in New Orleans with T28-T18-T7 prior to last year’s missed cut. We think Tringale could go well this week and it’s a pretty light field that he’s up against. | |||
Charles Howell III | 2pt each way 50-1 | PaddyPower TOP SIX |
Finishing position: T34 Back Charles Howell III Again |
Howell has had his usual solid year and is currently 27th in the Fedex Cup. Charles has had some decent finishes over the years and it’s only a matter of time before he enters the winners circle for a third time. He’s notched three punter friendly finishes in New Orleans and no doubt he’s capable of popping up in the top five this week. |
