The AT&T is held over three courses (Pebble Beach – wide fairways, small greens, exposed to wind; Spyglass Hill – tight, small greens, hardest of the three; Monterey Peninsula – short, big greens). Pebble hosts two of the four rounds and wind can be a factor on these exposed links. This tournament follows the usual Pro-Am format of slow play and easy pin placements. Patience and decent current/course form are key factors here. Brandt Snedeker defends but seems to have been a little out of sorts lately.

Aaron Baddeley | 1pt each way 110-1 | Stan James |
Finishing position: T56 Back Aaron Baddeley Again |
We highlighted Aaron Baddeley for this event last year and he managed a decent T12. He went on to have a woeful second half of 2013 but seems to have regrouped and was 5th at the CIMB. He seems to have added some distance off the tee, he’s still one of the best putters on the planet and is still well capable of punter friendly finishes. No question, being at ease with the difficult Pro-Am format he’ll be looking to make a week could that many pros dread. Got to be worth a small nibble at this price.
Jason Kokrak | 2pt each way 70-1 | Stan James |
Finishing position: T19 Back Jason Kokrak Again |
We highlighted Jason Kokrak last season in this event and he rewarded us with a missed cut. Nevertheless, he unquestionably is a fast improving player who could well be in the ‘winner about to happen’ category. He seems to have bedded in nicely on tour. He’s had a good 2013-14 season so far and when he’s made the cut he’s gone on to a top 25 each time. The secret is improved putting. His 2012 T9 at Pebble catches the eye when he was hopelessly out of form. He’s due a high finish and at these odds he has to be worth a small punt, especially coming of a solid T15 at the Phoenix which should have been better.
Pat Perez | 2pt each way 50-1 | Stan James |
Finishing position: T7 Back Pat Perez Again |
Pat is really kicking on this season and sits proudly at 22nd in the Fedex Cup. He’s coming into Pebble with some decent momentum. He’s hitting plenty of greens and putting well when he finds them. That will stand him in very good stead this week and seems well set to contend for his second tour title very soon. He’s made a decent number of cuts here and managed a T2 way back in 2002. He’s playing some good stuff this week and easily could be a factor here. |
