The BMW Masters presents a very strong field for this event staged in Shanghai, China. The course at Lake Malaren GC is a long 7600 yard par 72 that clearly favours longer hitters, although the fairways were narrowed a little in 2013. The defending champion is Gonzalo Fernandez Castano who won last year with a relatively high total of -11.

We’re happy to go on Romain Wattel again this week having rewarded our followers with a 40-1 place win in Portugal a few weeks ago. There aren’t many in this field playing as well as the talented Frenchman. His long hitting should suit the course well and we’re backing him to have another good week.

We’re having another nibble at our old friend Rafa Cabrera Bello this week. He’s had a great season and the open and fairly long. The course clearly favours long hitters and he’s rewarded our followers with a couple of place wins this season and we’re happy to take these odds.
