It’s fitting that the week before the Ryder Cup the Tour returns to the Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor, scene of the 2010 edition. The course is a 7352 yard par 71 which tends to favour the longer hitters. Length off the tee and good putting will stand you in good stead this week. A number of Ryder Cup competitors are in the field and Gregory Bourdy defends. Will the Ryder Cup stars have their minds elsewhere?

Richie Ramsay | 2pt each way 40-1 | BetVictor |
Finishing position: T17 Back Richie Ramsay Again |
We’re going with a form horse this week. Richie is playing some great golf this week. He’s gone T4-T8-T9 in the last three starts. He looks ready to win, no question, and he’ll fancy his chances against a relatively weak field. He’s had a T10 a few years ago round Celtic Manor and looks a good each way bet to pop up on the leaderboard come Sunday.
Romain Wattel | 2pt each way 40-1 | BetVictor |
Finishing position: T9 Back Romain Wattel Again |
Romain had a disappointing finish at the KLM when third round leader but he’ll have taken a lot from the experience and his form of T11-T9-T5 really chatches the eye. It’s possible he could bounce back strongly this week and T14 and T8 in his last three visits backs this up. He’s well worth an each way punt, we feel.
Eddie Pepperell | 2pt each way 50-1 | BetVictor |
Returned 10.8pts for T4 place finish!
Back Eddie Pepperell Again |
Eddie rewarded our followers with a small place win a couple of weeks ago and is playing the golf of his life at the moment. Three top fives in his last four starts speaks volumes and he must have a chance here. He made the cut in his first visit to Celtic Manor last year but he’s a much stronger proposition this time around. |
