The tour moves to the Emerald Isle after a week off. Fota Island is this week’s venue for the Irish Open. This event moves around a fair bit so course form is tricky. Fota Island is a parkland style par 71 of just over 7000 yards and favours the longer hitters.

Rafa is having an incredibly consistent season and a win can’t be far off. By his own admission his game is firing on all fronts and nicely rested we can see him going very well on a Fota Island course that will suit him well. He ticks a lot of the boxes for us this week.

Shane is a supremely talented player who is coming back into form and will be inspired by his famous win in the Irish Open a few years ago. The home support is bound to spur him on and his upturn in form should continue this week.

Fabrizio delivered a nice return for our followers a couple of weeks ago and is in good form at the moment. He’s had a T3, T16 and a 5th in his last five starts and arrives in Ireland in good shape. We think he’s well worth a small nibble at a very good price this week.
