The Tour takes in Singapore this week for the hastily rescheduled event formally known as the Ballantine’s Championship. The Masters Course is a 7200 yard par 72 and, like a lot of these places, has and American feel and water in play on twelve holes. There are also a number of vast sand areas. There is little course form to go on so this should be wide open with the last event being played here in 2007. For what it’s worth, Brett Rumford won the Ballantine’s last year.

It’s been a long way back from injury for Malton’s Simon Dyson but he seems to be hitting form. He’s had a few good finishes of late but last week’s T8 in China was very promising. He’s very comfortable in this part of the world and will see this event as an opportunity to post a big finish. In what is a pretty weak field Dyson could have a very good week indeed.
Jbe Kruger	1pt each way 55-1	Stan James	Finishing position: T72 Back Jbe Kruger Again
Jbe is our last pick this week for the same reasons as last week. He’s hitting form and had a win in Zimbabwe a couple of weeks ago. He had a good run at the Volvo China Open finishing T15. He’s won before on the European Tour and he could well make it count this week on what is a pretty level playing field.
