The European tour returns to Africa this week for the Trophee Hassan II from Agadir, Morocco. The course itself is a 6844 yard par 72 situated in the grounds of the Royal Palace and the event has been held here for the last three years. The small greens favour the more accurate hitters. Marcel Seim was last year’s winner.
Name | Odds | Bookmaker | |
---|---|---|---|
Bernd Wiesberger | 2pt each way 25-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: T33 Back Bernd Wiesberger Again |
Bernd is a fast improving player who has already posted two tour wins. He had a decent finish in Dubai last time out. He had a nice T5 here last year looks to have as good a chance as anyone. He’s certainly the kind of long hitting player who can overpower a short course like this one. | |||
Danny Willett | 2pt each way 40-1 | SkyBet |
Finishing position: T37 Back Danny Willett Again |
Danny looks a class above most in this field after a solid year to date. He’s had four top 20s in six starts and if he maintains this consistency then he’ll post a high finish sooner rather than later. He’s had a T7 and T11 in his three attempts in Agadir and looks a sound bet to post another high finish. | |||
Simon Dyson | 2pt each way 40-1 | Bet365 |
Finishing position: T37 Back Simon Dyson Again |
Simon Dyson is looking like he’s coming back to form and there’s reason for optimism this week. He’s had some good finishes of late culminating in last week’s T10. He should go well again this week in a pretty poor field and the ambitious Yorkshireman will be eyeing this one for a high finish. We think 40-1 is pretty decent. |
